Four potted plants on the deck complimented the all over surroundings. Lots of white rose petals scattered around the area leading onto the cream carpet down the aisle with gold Tiffany chairs set up for guest seating all set the mood for this very special part of the day.
Two baskets filled with fresh white rose petals were on hand to be used as confetti after the Ceremony.
With an absolutely beautiful Cape Town day, the Canal and Table Mountain backdrop your guests were in awe.
The banquet chairs with white covers were set up around each of the round guest tables all covered with the Hotels linen and set as per the Hotel’s outstanding standard with silver cutlery, glassware and white napkins on glass underplates. We folded a turquoise satin ribbon with white flower ribbon detail around each napkin to make the colour you envisaged pop.
The centre of each of the five round guest tables was decorated with a large round mirror elevated from the table on crystal bowls. A beautiful white bowl with a white orchid plant and moss complimented with some white willow sticks and hanging crystals will be the main focal display on each table. Lots of pearls (supplied by you) will be scattered on the mirror plate creating the romantic look you envisage.
The orchids (not the bowls) will be yours to take home or hand out to special guests.
A dance floor area will be created in front of the main table to do your first dance as you enter the venue.
The long, nearly 10m rectangular main table will be set up along the side with the high windows. The glass cake table with the wedding cake will be set up in the far-right hand corner with some of the plants from the Ceremony combined with that.
As you enter the Restaurant, directly on your right-hand side next to the start of the main table the podium will be set up supplied by the Hotel and we will combine the remaining plants from the Ceremony with this to soften the look.
This long VIP table will be decorated with two large silver champagne bowl filled with ice and champagne, two white bowls with orchids, sticks and crystals as on the guest tables, filled in on the front with six white bowls and small white Casablanca lily posies complimented with your rose gold candle stands with short white candles.
Pearls, as well as some strings of pearls, will be scattered along the front of the table complimenting the overall look.
Indeed, a classy and elegant look for a different wedding celebration.
The bridal bouquet will be a posy of miniature white orchids tied with white satin ribbon. The Groom will have a white orchid buttonhole and the two gents in the bridal party a white rose buttonhole each.
